Returns, Refunds & Exchange
At Tectix Group, we aim to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. This Returns Policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
1. General Returns (Change of Mind)
If you wish to return a product for reasons other than defects (for example, you changed your mind):
You must notify us within 7 days of receiving the product.
The item must be:
- Unused and in its original condition
- In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and components
- Not damaged, altered, or installed
- Once the item has been inspected and approved:
A refund, store credit, or exchange will be processed.
Delivery and collection costs may be deducted from the refund.
Certain items may be subject to a reasonable handling or restocking fee.
2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is:
- Defective
- Damaged during delivery
- Incorrect (not what you ordered)
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photos (if applicable)
In line with the CPA, you may choose:
- A repair
- A replacement
- A full refund
Tectix Group will cover the return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items.
3. Warranty Claims (After Use)
Many products carry a manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty claims must follow the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
We may assist in facilitating the warranty process.
Products may be sent for assessment or repair before approval of replacement or refund.
Please note: Warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage
- Misuse or neglect
- Power surges or improper installation
- Normal wear and tear
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Software, digital products, or downloadable items
- Products with broken seals (where applicable)
- Special-order or custom-built products
- Consumables (e.g., printer cartridges, batteries) once opened
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling
5. Return Process
To request a return:

Include:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos if the item is damaged or defective
Wait for return authorization and instructions before sending the item.
Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.
6. Refunds
Refunds are processed once the returned item is received and inspected.
Approved refunds will be issued within 5–10 business days.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Delivery Costs
Original delivery fees are non-refundable (unless the item is defective or incorrect).
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for non-defective returns.
Tectix Group will cover return shipping for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
Check your bank or payment provider first.
