Delivery Policy

This Delivery Policy explains how orders placed with Tectix Group are processed, shipped, and delivered.

1. Delivery Areas

Tectix Group currently delivers within South Africa only.

We do not offer international shipping at this time. Orders with delivery addresses outside South Africa will not be processed.

2. Order Processing

Orders are processed during business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (excluding public holidays).

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.

Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Processing times may be longer for:

  • Special-order items
  • Out-of-stock products
  • Supplier-based or high-demand items
3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Major cities & metropolitan areas: 1–3 business days
  • Regional areas: 2–5 business days
  • Remote or outlying areas: 3–7 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier operations or factors beyond our control.

4. Delivery Fees

Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on location, size, and weight of the order.

All delivery charges will be displayed before payment.

Promotional free delivery offers may apply from time to time.

5. Courier Services & Tracking

We use trusted third-party courier partners for all deliveries.

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • A tracking number will be sent via email or SMS.
  • Delivery updates will be provided by the courier.
6. Delivery Requirements

Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct.

Someone must be available to receive and sign for the parcel.

The courier may contact you to arrange delivery.

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • No one available to receive the parcel
  • Customer unreachable

Additional re-delivery fees may apply.

7. Inspection on Delivery

Upon receiving your order:

  • Inspect the package for visible damage before signing.

If the parcel appears damaged, note this with the courier or refuse delivery.

Report any damage, missing items, or incorrect products within 48 hours to:

8. Stock Availability & Split Deliveries

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to offer:

  • A refund, or
  • An alternative product, or
  • Delayed delivery (if restocking soon)

Orders may be shipped in multiple consignments if items are sourced from different locations or suppliers.

9. Risk and Ownership

Risk and ownership pass to the customer once the goods have been delivered and accepted at the delivery address.

10. Delivery Delays

Tectix Group is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Courier operational issues
  • Weather or natural events
  • Public holidays or strikes
  • Incorrect customer information

We will assist in resolving any delivery issues as quickly as possible.
